Coronavirus update: Small decrease in north-east cases

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 2888 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 9.1 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 578 cases and NHS Lothian 506 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 361 cases while NHS Highland recorded 89 cases.

In the seven days to November 23 Aberdeenshire saw 894 cases (342.8 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 997 (435.3 per 100,000) and Moray 479 (500.5 per 100,000).

21 new deaths were recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,343,208 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,944,225 people have received their second dose and 1,568,535 have received a third dose or booster.
