Coronavirus update: Continued rise in cases in the NHS Grampian area

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 1118 positive cases of coronavirus, which equates to 5.8 per cent of those tested overall.

NHS Greater Glasgow saw 400 cases, Lanarkshire 218 , Lothian 120 and Ayrshire 78 with the remaining cases across Scotland.

NHS Grampian saw 75 cases while NHS Highland saw a further 14 cases.

In the seven days to November 11 there were 121 cases in Aberdeenshire (46.3 per 100,000) and 100 in Aberdeen City (43.7 per 100,000).

A total of 36 deaths were also recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 as a contributing factor in the last 24 hours.
