Coronavirus update: Over 4.16million are at least partially vaccinated in Scotland

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 2870 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 11.7 per cent of those tested overall.

These do not include full results from NHS Borders due to issues in reporting, however the previous issues with reporting from NHS Grampian have been resolved.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 675 cases, NHS Lanarkshire 553 and NHS Lothian 389 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 263 cases while NHS Highland recorded 115 cases.

In the seven days to September 18, Aberdeenshire saw 1217 cases (466.7 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 937 (409.1 per 100,000) and Moray 189 (197.5 per 100,000)..

Sadly 18 new deaths have been recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,160,835 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,813,547 people have received their second dose.
