Coronavirus update: NHS Grampian records 111 new cases





In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 2836 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 8.9 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 662 and NHS Lothian 849 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 111 new cases while NHS Highland recorded 107 new cases.

In the seven days to June 23 there were 323 new cases in Aberdeenshire (123.7 per 100,000), 508 in Aberdeen City (222.2 per 100,000) and 37 in Moray (38.6 per 100,000).

Three deaths were recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 3,730,101 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 2,666,827 people have received their second dose.
