Coronavirus update: National combined test totals see a rise

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 7752 positive cases of coronavirus from PCR and LFD testing.

NHS Glasgow recorded 732 positive PCR tests and NHS Lothian 637.

NHS Grampian saw 383 while NHS Highland recorded 160 positive PCR tests.

In the seven days to January 14 , Aberdeenshire saw 1329 positive tests (509.6 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 1375 (600.3 per 100,000) and Moray 444 (463.9 per 100,000).

31 new deaths were recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,401,034 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 4,090,242 people have received their second dose.
