Coronavirus update: More than 70 percent of Scots are partially vaccinated

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 464 positive cases which equates to 1.8 per cent of those tested overall.

NHS Greater Glasgow saw 170 cases, Lothian 98 and Lanarkshire 68 with the remaining cases across Scotland.

NHS Grampian saw 12 cases while NHS Highland saw a further four cases.

In the seven days to May 24 there were 30 cases in Aberdeenshire (11.5 per 100,000), 30 in Aberdeen City (13.1 per 100,000) and 13 in Moray (13.6 per 100,000).

No deaths were recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 as a contributing factor in the last 24 hours.

To date 3,174,807 people (71.3 per cent of over 18s) have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 1,942,285 people (43.7 per cent of over 18s) have received their second dose
