Coronavirus update: Grampian cases drop over weekend

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 5364 positive cases of coronavirus recorded from PCR and LFD testing.

NHS Glasgow recorded 1074 combined tests and NHS Lothian 982.

NHS Grampian saw 495 while NHS Highland recorded 342 positive tests in total.

No new deaths were recorded with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

In the seven days to April 3, Aberdeenshire saw 2498 positive tests (957.9 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 1914 (835.6 per 100,000) and Moray 979 (1022.9 per 100,000).

To date in Scotland more than 4,362,070 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 4,095,356 people have received their second dose with 3,455,128 having had a third or booster dose.
