Coronavirus update: Further technical issues lead to yet another lag in case reporting

Public Health Scotland has again been unable to provide the public with the latest case numbers and rates.

In a statement it said: "Daily data on new cases, tests, ICU admissions and vaccinations will not be refreshed today due to a technical issue affecting the availability of the data.

"Tomorrow’s update will include figures for today."

Earlier this week is warned over figures being unrepresentative of cases due to "issues" at the weekend which saw under reporting of cases.
Cases by neighbourhood data which shows the breakdown by local area has not been updated since September 12.

What is known is that there have been 26 new deaths have been recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
