Coronavirus update: Further slight fall in north-east cases

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 2287 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 8.2 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 443 cases and NHS Lothian 400 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 299 cases while NHS Highland recorded 112 cases.

In the seven days to November 24 Aberdeenshire saw 900 cases (345.1 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 1001 (437.0 per 100,000) and Moray 480 (501.5 per 100,000).

17 new deaths were recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,344,043 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,945,421 people have received their second dose and 1,598,749 have received a third dose or booster.
