Coronavirus update: Fall in cases is being sustained

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 3093 positive cases of coronavirus recorded from PCR and LFD testing.

NHS Glasgow recorded 678 combined tests and NHS Lothian 510.

NHS Grampian saw 301 while NHS Highland recorded 236 positive tests in total.

28 new deaths recorded with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

In the seven days to April 17, Aberdeenshire saw 1289 positive tests (494.3 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 1018 (444.4 per 100,000) and Moray 465 (485.4 per 100,000).

To date in Scotland more than 4,383,200 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination, over 4,103,487 people have received their second dose, 3,469,018 have had a third booster dose and 289,918 have had a fourth dose.
