In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 413 positive cases which equates to 1.6 per cent of those tested overall.

Following an issue affecting the flow of tests between May 13 and 14 the numbers reported yesterday were lower than expected and the missing data is included in today's figures, contributing to the jump in cases.

NHS Greater Glasgow saw 176 cases, Lanarkshire 65 and Lothian 64 with the remaining cases across Scotland.

NHS Grampian saw 26 cases while NHS Highland saw a further five cases.

In the seven days to May 12 there were 34 cases in Aberdeenshire (13 per 100,000), 39 in Aberdeen City (17.1 per 100,000) and 66 in Moray (68.9 per 100,000).

No deaths were recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 as a contributing factor in the last 24 hours.

To date 3,003,339 people have received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine and 1,599,519 have received their second dose.
