Coronavirus update: Cases see no drop in the north-east

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 2527 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 11.6 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 518 cases and NHS Lothian 418 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 316 cases while NHS Highland recorded 135 cases.

In the seven days to November 19 Aberdeenshire saw 928 cases (355.9 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 1123 (490.3 per 100,000) and Moray 505 (527.6 per 100,000).

17 new deaths were recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,340,162 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,940,314 people have received their second dose and 1,469,423 have received a third dose or booster.
