Coronavirus update: Aberdeenshire records 2357 new cases this week

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 5484 cases of coronavirus from PCR and LFD testing.

NHS Glasgow recorded 1222 combined tests and NHS Lothian 846.

NHS Grampian saw 566 while NHS Highland recorded 492 positive tests in total.

11 new deaths recorded with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

In the seven days to February 22 Aberdeenshire saw 2357 positive tests (903.8 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 1980 (864.4 per 100,000) and Moray 767 (801.4 per 100,000).

To date in Scotland more than 4,434,404 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 4,154,924 people have received their second dose with 3,419,928 having had a third or booster dose.
