Coronavirus update: Aberdeenshire records more than 1200 cases this week

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 3867 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 9.6 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 586 cases and NHS Lothian 571 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 495 cases while NHS Highland recorded 296 cases.

In the seven days to October 27, Aberdeenshire saw 1207 cases (462.8 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 755 (329.6 per 100,000) and Moray 295 (308.2 per 100,000).

To date in Scotland more than 4,315,802 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,905,177 people have received their second dose.
