Coronavirus update: 931 new cases in Aberdeenshire this week

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 2691 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 6.8 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 546 cases and NHS Lothian 398 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 326 cases while NHS Highland recorded 99 cases.

In the seven days to October 4, Aberdeenshire saw 931 cases (357.0 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 642 (280.3 per 100,000) and Moray 322 (336.4 per 100,000).

39 new deaths have been recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,235,075 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,854,847 people have received their second dose.
