Coronavirus update: 589 positive tests recorded in NHS Grampian area

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 6215 positive cases of coronavirus recorded from PCR and LFD testing.

NHS Glasgow recorded 1293 combined tests and NHS Lothian 1135.

NHS Grampian saw 589 while NHS Highland recorded 356 positive tests in total.

There were 35 new deaths were recorded with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

In the seven days to April 5, Aberdeenshire saw 1900 positive tests (728.6 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 1517 (662.3 per 100,000) and Moray 778 (812.9 per 100,000).

To date in Scotland more than 4,369,103 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 4,097,075 people have received their second dose with 3,457,690 having had a third or booster dose.
