Coronavirus update: 5800 positive cases registered in Scotland

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 5809 positive cases of coronavirus identified from PCR and LFD testing.

NHS Glasgow recorded 483 combined tests and NHS Lothian 544.

NHS Grampian saw 298 while NHS Highland recorded 103 positive tests in total.

In the seven days to February 4 for PCR results, Aberdeenshire saw 1217 positive tests (466.7 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 1525 (665.8 per 100,000) and Moray 357 (373.0 per 100,000).

To date in Scotland more than 4,422,719 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 4,136,739 people have received their second dose with 3,320,254 having had a third or booster dose.
