Coronavirus update: 32 new cases recorded in Grampian

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 281 positive cases which equates to 1.5 per cent of those tested overall.

NHS Greater Glasgow saw 71 cases, Lanarkshire 59 and Lothian 31 while NHS Grampian reported 32 new cases.

The remaining cases were spread across Scotland with NHS Highland recording a further two cases.

In the seven days to April 7 there were 53 cases in Aberdeenshire (20.3 per 100,000), 54 in Aberdeen City (23.6 per 100,000) and 35 in Moray (36.5 per 100,000).

Sadly four deaths were also recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 as a contributing factor in the last 24 hours.
