Coronavirus update: 267 new cases in Grampian

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 3261 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 8.8 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 770 cases and NHS Lothian 497 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 267 cases while NHS Highland recorded 126 cases.

In the seven days to September 22, Aberdeenshire saw 1054 cases (404.2 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 839 (366.3 per 100,000) and Moray 210 (219.4 per 100,000).

18 new deaths have been recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,172,573 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,824,074 people have received their second dose.
