20 new coronavirus cases recorded in Grampian in 24 hours





In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 168 positive cases which equates to 1.6 per cent of those tested overall.

NHS Greater Glasgow saw 49 cases, NHS Lanarkshire 28 and NHS Lothian 17, while NHS Grampian saw 20 new cases.

NHS Highland also recorded four cases.

In the seven days to May 7 there were 22 new cases in Aberdeenshire (8.4 per 100,000), 44 in Aberdeen City (19.2 per 100,000) and 90 in Moray (93.9 per 100,000).

No deaths have been recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland over 2,909,156 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and over 1,485,296 people have received their second dose.
