Coronavirus update: 1200 positive tests recorded in Aberdeenshire this week

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 7640 positive cases of coronavirus from PCR and LFD testing.

NHS Glasgow recorded 734 positive PCR and NHS Lothian 745.

NHS Grampian saw 481 while NHS Highland recorded 217 positive tests in total.

15 deaths were reported.

In the seven days to February 6 for PCR results, Aberdeenshire saw 1213 positive tests (465.1 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 1469 (641.3 per 100,000) and Moray 340 (355.2 per 100,000).

To date in Scotland more than 4,423,943 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 4,138,634 people have received their second dose with 3,328,947 having had a third or booster dose.
