Further new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the NHS Grampian area since Friday afternoon, taking the area's total for those currently in hospital to 99 a rise of 10 on Friday when the figure stood at 89.

There have now been to date a total of 1078 confirmed cases of covid-19 across the region, with 11 people currently in intensive care.

Across Scotland, 74,063 people have been tested for coronavirus, with 60,436 negative and 13,627 positive.

Sadly, 1862 of those who tested positive have died.

A total of 3114 patients have been discharged from hospital.

Yesterday, Scotland's First Minister confirmed people in Scotland can now exercise as many times a day as they want – but that is the only change to lockdown life for the people of Scotland.

The message remains: Stay home, protect the NHS, save lives.
