Being Turriff born and bred Iain has the local community heart.

As he curtails his day to day farming activities he substitutes this care and attention to his constituents.

It is the local individual contact that gives him the greatest pleasure and seeing these benefits come through to the community at large.

Living locally Gordon has worked as a kilt maker for the past eight years since leaving the army, he is very keen to help the local communities in any way he can.

Making improvements in the local community is his top priority and he will strive to do this at every opportunity.

The past two years have seen dramatic effects to community life.

The community spirit at large has been exemplary, being evident on many fronts.

The partnership of the business association, community council and others in installing CCTV in Turriff town centre has benefitted the town.

Unfortunately vandalism and rowdiness has moved to other unmonitored areas .

Substantial funding has also been allocated to infrastructure improvement, mainly bridges and roads.

The difficulty now is the large back log after a particularly severe winter in 20-21 and the limitations of squad working under pandemic conditions.

If elected Gordon and Iain will be available and work hard for all in the Turriff ward community.
