Community larder opens its doors for those in need in Inverurie

In a continuing effort to tackle food poverty in the north-east, Grampian Opportunities (GO) are set to open a community larder on Wednesday in Inverurie.

As GO's Linda Singer explained: "The Inverurie Community Larder aims to help those within our community who are struggling to feed themselves and their families.

"We have wide range of food on offer thanks to support from local donors and CFINE Fareshare.

"This will be a drop in service and you do not need a referral or an appointment."

She continued: "We've also been very generously gifted items of children's clothing from the Inverurie Community Craft Project

The larder will officially open on Wednesday 13 and will run from Monday to Friday 10am - 3pm.
