In addition to the standard application criteria the Trustees are open to one-off survival grant applications from small groups facing closure, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Trustees recognise that although there are many funding streams available at this time, access for small community groups is limited.

In addition to the one off survival grants they expect most applications will fall within one or more of the categories as detailed on the website, at https://frp.scot/funding-schemes.html

However, they are not intended to exclude projects that would benefit Formartine or its residents so if in doubt please apply.

The key to a successful application is to provide as much relevant information as possible.

The application process is open to any Community Organisation located in the Formartine area of Aberdeenshire.

Individuals may apply for assistance with personal pursuits or endeavours that fall within the aims of the scheme as stated on the website.

Groups need to have a constitution or other appropriate governing documentation and all applicants must have a bank account as all payments are made by bank transfer only.

The total amount to be awarded this round will be at the discretion of the Trustees.

The closing date is noon on Tuesday, December 9 and the Trustees will notify applicants no later than Tuesday, December 15.

If you have any questions or experience any difficulty in the application process please contact peter.ridout@frp.scot or leave a telephone message at 01358 720584.
