It is another one not to be missed for Aberdeen stand up comedy fans as TV and podcast favourite Tom Davis prepares to stop offs on his brand new tour.

Sweet, sweet soul Tom Davis is best known for hit shows King Gary, The Curse, Murder In Successville, Live At The Apollo and his hugely popular podcast Wolf and Owl with Romesh Ranganathan.

Embarking on his biggest tour to date with his brand new show, Underdog, Tom will be exploring life as the longshot.

From leaving school with no qualifications to years working on building sites, all the way to the difficult road to fatherhood, acting in blockbuster films and yet still being told he’s punching by a waiter.

Promoter Doug Taylor said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have managed to get these dates rescheduled so quickly.

“There’s huge excitement around Tom’s tour, his biggest to date, and we’re really looking forward to his Aberdeen show.

“This evening of big laughs has proven to be a big ticket and the good news is that Tom’s fans now have an extra few weeks to secure their tickets.”

Tom Davis is a writer, actor and stand-up comedian best known for his breakout show Murder in Successville (2015).

The cult BBC3 series, which he co-wrote with James De Frond, is a mix of cop show meets reality TV, and Successville is a surreal place with a high celebrity homicide count.

Tom's follow-up series Action Team (2018) is a six-part spoof spy action-thriller following the exploits of a top-secret team of special agents working for the British government and charged with saving the world.

Starring alongside Tom are BAFTA winning actress Vicky McClure, Derek Riddell, Jim Howick, Stephen Graham and Kayode Ewumi.

Tom was chosen by an industry panel to be part of BAFTA's 'Breakthrough Brits' in association with Burberry initiative, which highlights and supports exciting and emerging talent in film, TV, production and gaming each year.

The programme has supported the likes of Florence Pugh, Josh O'Connor, Alex Lawther, Letitia Wright, Stacy Martin and Tom Holland.

In 2009, Tom filmed a few sketches with De Frond, who was working on Cha'mone Mo'Fo'Selecta! A Tribute to Michael Jackson (2009) as a producer, to give to Leigh Francis, who then invited Tom to appear on the show.

Tom has since continued to build his reputation as a multi-talented stand-up comedian, writer and actor, appearing in The Morgana Show (2010), Bad Education (2012), Drunk History: UK (2015), Cockroaches (2015), Big School (2013), The Comic Strip Presents and Plebs (2013).

In film, Tom has been seen in Free Fire (2016) and in Paddington 2 (2017) as the memorable T-Bone.
