A coffee morning in Turriff Legion raised almost £770 for Down's Syndrome Scotland.

Organised by local families, in addition to a fly cup visitors could try their hand at raffles, tombolas and guessing the number of sweets in the jar.

There were also stalls selling various crafts, including cards and crocheted items, and homebakes.

Volunteer Sue Edwards said: "We had a great coffee morning, and we raised £768.18 which is a fantastic amount for Down's Syndrome Scotland.

"We are so pleased and we would to thank everyone who attended, and all the people who made this possible, we appreciate it so much."
