A north-east war memorial is set to move to a new home after the church at Cluny was put up for sale by the Church of Scotland.
Plans have been submitted to Aberdeenshire Council to move the memorial cross from its existing location and site it outside the nearby cemetery on land which is owned by the council.
The church and its associated hall which is on the market for offers over £99,999, is one of several which have been put up for sale following a review of properties by the Church of Scotland including the Muckle Kirk in Peterhead and St Mark’s in Aberdeen.
