Chalmers Hospital in Banff receives new items from support group

The Friends of Chalmers Hospital group has been able to restart its three-year plan for the GP ward and dialysis unit.

The number of outpatient clinics has increased and all the departments within the hospital have seen a rise in the number of patients treated.

Friends of Chalmers Hospital chairwoman Janet Anderson said: "We have managed to supply the GP ward with two reclining chairs and the dialysis unit with one dialysis chair.

"We have also supplied smaller items requested for the benefit of the patients and staff.

"The Friends group is a charity and we are always keen to have new members. Please contact us if you would like to help.

"Chalmers Hospital is an amazing community asset and deserves our support."

The Friends of Chalmers Hospital is holding its AGM on Tuesday, August 15 in Banff Castle at 7pm and all are welcome to attend.

The group also has a new Facebook page The Friends of Chalmers Hospital, Banff which people can visit.
