The Ythan Singers are delighted to return with their annual Christmas concert next weekend.

Carols By Candlelight will be held on December 11 at 2.30pm in Ellon Parish Church and on December 18 at 2.30pm in Inverurie's St Andrew's Church.

Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy a festival of well-known carols, featuring many timeless favourites.

The programme includes a number of beautiful carols like What Sweeter Music, the Star Carol and Candlelight Carol.

Once again, the audience will have a chance to join in with well-known carols, like Hark the Herald Angels Sing and O Come All Ye Faithful.

The concert will be conducted by musical director Morag Simpson and accompanied by Ashleigh Grant, who herself will be singing a solo accompanied by Gordon Hay.

This concert is going to be packed full of wonderful festive music and is sure to be a concert not to be missed.

There will be a collection on the door for the Lina Liver Charity, which will go towards the transplant ward in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and the transplant unit in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

Tea, coffee, mince pies and shortbread will be served at the end of the concerts.
