The search is on for someone to switch on a set of Christmas lights which have become something of a Moray phenomenon.

Callum Stewart's illuminations at the home he shares with this grandma Jessie have been wowing all and sundry for several years.

Visible each December to anyone driving through Keith on the main A96 road, the lights have helped the 21-year-old raise thousands for charity.

Callum, who creates most of the lights himself from fluorescent tubes, also got to work during the early days of the lockdown to raise people's spirits.

At the end of March he fashioned a message of support for the NHS out of 1200 fairy lights.

And now he's gearing again for the festive period.

Callum said: "Despite the dreaded COVID, we are determined to put on an even bigger and better show than last year to cheer everyone up in these uncertain times.

"We intend to hold a public switch on at 6pm on Tuesday, December 1, with everyone socially distanced throughout Seafield Park in front of the house. "
