Stewart's Hall was rammed full with around 185 people enjoying the occasion – a significant increase on 2023's attendance.

Last year's event was the first post-Covid Burns Supper the club had held, and they built on what was a successful return with this year's event.

Ashley Leggat, the club's secretary, said: "Everything ran really smoothly. It was a good show of people with about 185.

"That's a big turnout for us. Last year wasn't not busy – but this was definitely busier so a big thanks to everybody who came along."

Ashley added: "Some of them were quite surprised to win so the reactions were great.

"The event is one our of biggest fundraisers – alongside the barn dance in May. We are still trying to get it sorted and see what we have made but we are grateful for the support."
