Cluny Square in Buckie will once again host the town's Remembrance Sunday service, with a good crowd expected.

A parade featuring local Armed Forces veterans, representatives from various organisations in the area, Buckie Boys' Brigade, Buckie and District Pipe Band and others are scheduled to begin their journey down High Street to the square from the British Legion branch at 10.30am.

It is hoped they will be joined by contingents from RAF Lossiemouth and the Royal Engineers at Kinloss. As with last year, a group of bikers are also expected to join in the proceedings to pay their respects.

Taking the salute as the parade files past will be Buckie veteran John Grant.

The service itself is due to get under way at 11am.

Many other local communities will be holding their own services of remembrance at various points during the day.
