Running through to September 3, sessions are taking place in Banchory, Banff, Inverurie, Mintlaw and Peterhead libraries and at home.

Volunteers are working to help create fabric banners inspired by the Book of Deer and designed by textile artist Rachael Forbes.

Stitchers and crafters of all kinds and abilities welcome.

For those that want to be part of this ambitious community project final sign-ups will be accepted in mid June.
