Body of woman is found in Keith

Police Scotland say the body of a woman has been found in the Keith area following searches for Christine Thomson who had been reported missing.

The body is still to be formally identified but the 61-year-old's next of kin has been made aware.

A police Scotland spokesperson said: "There are no apparent suspicious circumstances."
