Birley Bush Community Garden readies for open day in Kemnay

Greener Kemnay will be holding an open day Birley Bush Community Garden in Kemnay on Saturday, September 10.

The garden has been run by the charity group for the benefit of local residents for a number of years.

The event, which runs from 10am to 2pm, will include demonstrations of some methods of vegetarian cooking using the Garden’s produce, and non-alcoholic drinks will be available.

A boules pitch will be marked out for people to 'have a go', and gazebos will be erected in case of bad weather.
