BBC Debate Night inviting Aberdeenshire residents for May programme

ABERDEENSHIRE residents will have the chance to be part of a virtual audience on the BBC's Debate Night programme this month.
Due to lockdown restrictions, there is no on-set audience for Debate Night, a political programme which airs on BBC Scotland every Wednesday evening, but guests can apply to attend from the comfort of their own homes.
Every week, the programme invites people from a different area of the country to attend virtually and on Wednesday, May 20, the audience will come from Aberdeenshire.
Members of the audience will join via mobile phone or computer, on video-chat or Zoom.
The show's presenter Stephen Jardine said: "Debate Night is the only place where people are regularly able to put their questions and experiences directly to Scotland's policy-makers in their own words.
"Despite the restrictions in place, we are determined to continue giving people the opportunity to question those in charge."

Tonight's show, on BBC Scotland and BBC Radio Scotland at 10.30pm, will have a Glaswegian audience.
Douglas Ross, Moray's Conservative MP, is one of the show's guests.
