Banff venues set for Grampian Wellbeing Festival events

Events are set to be held in Banff as part of the Grampian Wellbeing Festival.

The North Public Health Team will be hosting a Menopause Brunch in the town.

It will be held at Banff Castle where all things menopause will be discussed on Sunday, May 19 from 10am-1pm.

The event will feature a number of guest speakers.

Susan Grayson, from Younique Inclusion, will provide an overview of the menopause, symptoms and coping along with dispelling common myths associated with it.

Andrea McIntosh, of AMPT Fitness4Life, will chat about her aim of improving, maintaining and enhancing people’s movement and mental health through remedial massage, movement and mindset during the menopause.

Jules Wyse, from Wyse Nutrition will talk about optimising health during menopause through diet and lifestyle.

Finally Macduff Library will showcase its range of menopause literature.

The event is free and all are welcome to attend.

Brunch will be provided. The venue is wheelchair accessible and there is limited free parking available on the castle grounds.

Meanwhile, a Family Event will be held at The Vinery on Saturday, May 25 from 10.30am-2.30pm.

There will be lots of community groups attending, wellbeing activities, inflatable fun and music. It will be free to attend.
