A club spokeswoman said: "The aim of the event is to encourage the local community to enjoy some mini rugby games, as well as other games, activities, stalls and entertainment.

"Banff Rugby Club is hoping to encourage more people in the area to take up the sport.

"There was a large turnout last year for this event and a fun day for all is planned."

The event will also include a dog show, bouncy castles, face painting, various stalls, a barbecue and ice-cream.
