Banff Hill Walking Group to climb Bennachie for next trek

Banff Hill Walking Group's next trek will see members climb Bennachie.

It will take place on Sunday, May 14 and those participating will be able to choose from high and low level walks.

Member Ian Rennie said: "We will next be travelling to Bennachie where there are two walks one going up and across all the tops of the hill and a low level one contouring round the hill with both finishing at the back of the Bennachie Centre.

"Pick ups for the bus will start from Macduff at 7.55am and then to Banff, Cornhill and Huntly."

The group's last trek was from Dufftown to Aberlour which included Convalmore hill.
