Banff business breakfast event will focus on sustainability

The Vinery in Banff is set to host a business breakfast event.

It will take place on Thursday, September 28 from 8am-10am as part of Scotland’s Climate Week 2023.

Organised by the RGU Sustainable Futures programme, it will feature guest speakers who will discuss how individuals and businesses have been supporting action on the climate crisis and provide more tips on how everyone can continue working towards becoming more sustainable.

The event is free to attend and breakfast rolls and hot drinks will be served.

RGU Sustainable Futures is funded through the Scottish Government’s LACER fund and aims to support rural businesses of all sizes learn to adapt to a changing and frequently challenging economic landscape.

A programme of interactive workshops, events and online resources will be made available to both businesses and individuals, with a particular focus on supporting firms to become more sustainable and efficient as the region and nation as a whole moves towards lowering carbon emissions across all sectors.

The project will show particular emphasis on supporting business through events and workshops at local library hubs including, Banff, Macduff, Peterhead, Fraserburgh and Banchory, and also online.
