Banff and Macduff business survey is launched for views on support group

Businesses in Banff and Macduff are being asked for their thoughts on the creation of a new network, forum or group tailored to their needs.

The new body would support all businesses, whether new, existing or start-ups, high street, out of town or virtual.

Given the tremendous diversity among businesses and sectors in the towns, it is acknowledged that a one-size-fits-all approach may not be suitable.

An Aberdeenshire Council spokesman said: "The aim of Aberdeenshire Council’s survey is to gauge interest and demand for a solution that enables the exchange of ideas, information, events, training opportunities and potentially the creation of a formal group.

"The survey is now live until Wednesday, January 31 and also ask some questions to give us an understanding of the business environment in both towns to help influence future support and projects."
