THE bakery business which previously operated in Huntly is returning with a weekly outlet starting next Friday.

Anne Keenan will be trading as The Culinary Kiwi Bird - Artisan Baker and will have her tasty selection of sourdough breads and cakes on sale each Friday between 11am and 1.30pm in the ground floor room at the Stewart's Hall.

Anne is also set to have a regular stall at Huntly Farmer's Market from July and the first Saturday of the month thereafter and the markets at Aberchirder, on the third Saturday, May 21 and Dufftown from the second Saturday in June onwards.

Anne said: "If people want this to be a regular thing I urge them to come along and support me, an independent local baker."

Anyone who wants to find out what is available each week should e mail theculinarykiwibird@gmail.com to be included in a mailing list which is sent out each Monday and allows pre orders to be placed for the Friday.

Anyone who lives near Insch can collect an order after 3pm from the micro bakery which Anne has created at her home in the village.
