AN AUSTRALIAN band are set to bring the rain down in Gartly with breezy, upbeat rhythms.

Playing and singing songs of the bluegrass, americana, old-time and swing genres, they have been described as having a sound “unique in instrumental wizardry and musical integrity”.

Americana UK said: “They played brilliantly with scintillating solos on all three instruments.”

Doors open at 7.30pm and the show will start at 8pm. There will be a raffle and attendees are invited to bring their own booze.

Tickets are on sale at the Orb Bookshop in Huntly (cash only) or contact chas@myticefarm.co.uk or 01466720234 for more details.
