Stunning special effects, amazing costumes along with first class vocals and music combined to give audiences at The Little Mermaid a really amazing night out.
The show was billed as the Scottish premier of the Hans Christian Andersen story and the Disney film and the quality of the performance certainly did not disappoint.
Right from the opening moment when Ariel floated onto the stage, the special effects just kept on coming.
The appearance of mermaids floating was achieved with wheeled trainers and the crew even managed to sail a boat across the stage.
An LED panel backdrop changed as the story of Ariel swapping her voice for feet unfolded.
Costumes were just stunning and the evil Ursula's tentacles unrolled to almost fill the stage.
The massive role of Ariel was shared by Kirsten Rennie and Louise Morrison while Lauren MacAskill and June Cranna split the Ursula part.
The parts were enormous and during the Wednesday show, Kirsten and Lauren were truly first class.
Top marks too to Lewis Moggach as Sebastian for maintaining the accent as he sang.
Neil Bell-Forsyth has grown from strength to strength in successive shows and was a perfect fit as King Triton.
The show was a real team effort and marked Aurora's 10th anniversary in the best possible way.
