Area Initiatives Fund opens for Garioch projects

Communities across the Garioch area can now apply for the Garioch Area Initiatives Fund, which will provide funding of up to £5000 for projects which promote the development of community-based initiatives.

The fund of £25,800 has been set aside to support local groups to meet the needs of their communities and tap into the talent and resources that exist throughout the area.

Applications are invited from constituted groups and the aim is to deliver projects within the Garioch area in line with the following themes:

• Improving the Appearance and Maintenance of Towns

• Healthier Communities

• Stronger Communities

• Connected Communities

Funding is also available across Aberdeenshire's other adminsitrative areas including Formartine, and Banff and Buchan which can be accessed here.
