Appeal after theft of safety equipment in Alford

North-east officers are investigating a theft by housebreaking within Haughton Park, Alford.

Between 11pm on Wednesday, July 14 and 7am on Thursday, July 15 property was damaged and heath and safety equipment was stolen.

Investigating Officer, Constable Wayne Young from Alford Community Policing Team said; "We are keen to trace anyone seen in the vicinity acting suspicious during these times.

"We would urge people to keep vigilant for any vehicles or persons acting suspiciously in their area and report them to the Police immediately".
