Appeal after theft of items including war medals from a Forres property

Police in Forres are appealing for information following a housebreaking which occurred at 1.30am on Friday, October 1 at Burdshaugh, Forres.

During this incident items of sentimental value were removed from the house including war medals and a distinctive personalised scarf, along with a quantity of alcohol.

A male carrying two bags was seen in the vicinity around about the time of the crime.

Anybody who has information in relating to this crime or has been offered the sale of these rare items, or can provide information on their whereabouts, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number PS-20211001-2614 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
