Appeal after community building damaged

An appeal has been made following structural damage to a community facility in Kintore.

On Thursday evening the Bothie was vandalised, which from CCTV footage, the group which run the site think took place in the early evening.

Footage has been passed onto the police but an appeal has been made for anyone who saw anything to come forward.

A spokesperson for the Bothie said: "We're a charity organisation doing our bit to work with young people and the community so finding the Bothie like this has really saddened us."

The building was created several years ago using eco-friendly construction techniques including straw cores to the walls which provide insulation.
