A popular event in the village calendar for Pitmedden is set to make a welcome return this year as Bonnyton Farmhouse hosts its annual Fairtrade sale.

Organiser Anne Aspden said: "This is an Aladdin’s cave of Christmas treasures, a farmhouse full of exquisite festive Fairtrade goodies to help you with your Christmas shopping list.

"Plus there’s cake and coffee and soup at lunchtime available in the cosy farmhouse kitchen too.

"It's a beautiful way to spend an hour or so knowing you are doing good for all those artisans across the globe, a personal well-being boost coupled with a fab shopping spree."

The event runs daily from 10am - 10pm from Tuesday, November 8 to Sunday 13 at Bonnyton Farmhouse, which is at the end of Bonnyton Road at Pitmedden.
